Essay Reading Challenge: On Your Marks…

Thanks to Carrie at Books and Movies, essayists can be sure of an audience in 2009! She has challenged books bloggers to commit to reading a number of essays this year, and to keep track of what they’ve read.
How can I resist a challenge like this? I’ll be reading the essays anyway, so why not keep track of them?
Books I intend to read include:
The Next American Essay (I have started this one but haven’t finished yet).
I’ll add to this list as I continue.
